Austrian State Award for Public Relations 2010: "Ke Nako Africa – Africa Now"
PlanSinn is pleased to have won the Austrian State Award for Public Relations 2010 for the Ke Nako Africa – Africa Now! initiative launched by the Austrian Development Cooperation and designed and implemented by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC) and the Afrika Vernetzungsplattform (AVP, Africa Networking Platform), with on-going support from Grayling Austria. PlanSinn was commissioned by Grayling to develop the didactical concept and design of the exhibition at the Vienna MuseumsQuartier, which was one of the highlights of the initiative. Offering films, music, literature, photos and lots of interesting facts, the exhibition (curated by Margit Niederhuber and Sonja Baltres) took visitors on a journey to Africa, presenting them with a new view of both the continent and its inhabitants (web application: ovos.at). PlanSinn would like to thank the members of its highly committed communications team and to express our gratitude towards our partners (CT-Werbung, Stahl und Form, Schlosserei Brandstätter, logAudio and Elektro A.Haas) for their reliability and flexibility.
